1 Flint Street, London

Due for completion 2025

Steeped in history, this former Victorian Police station in South London, dating from 1892, is one of our recent development projects. Unmodernised since closure of the police station in the mid 1970s, the building is in need of a new purpose and use. Harrison Architects and Designers Ltd have designed and managed the Town Planning process, and obtained Planning Consent to convert the building into 10 flats with the courtyard at the rear becoming a shared amenity space.

The building requires a substantial refurb and thermal improvement, and updating with Photovoltaic and air source heat pumps to bring the building into the post-fossil fuel world and reduce pollution in our carbon centres.

When completed the project will include a studio and 9 modern, apartments that range from 1 – 4 beds. creating significant development value.

The project also preserves a key, Victorian building in the Walworth Conservation Area securing the building’s future.
