Harrison Architects + designers Limited is a Chartered Royal Institute of British Architects Practice located in Haslemere, Surrey.
Founded in 2010 by Andrew Harrison, ARB / RIBA. Originally located in Barnes, West London, the practice moved to Haslemere in 2019, following Andrew and his family's move from London to Surrey.
Andrew has been a qualified Architect since 1993, celebrating 30 years in 2023.
Between 1992 and 2010 Andrew gained substantial experience on large complex projects whilst working in some of the UKs most prestigious Architectural companies, including Hopkins Architects, Rick Mather Architects, Powell & Moya, and ORMS ARCHITECTURE.
About Our Founder
As a project director at Hopkins Architects, Andrew ran the team developing the practices competition winning design for Evelina Children’s Hospital for Guys & St Thomas's NHS Trust. Leading the in-house team and external consultants Andrew ran the project through both the detailed design and construction phases.
The project was subsequently shortlisted for the Stirling Prize in 2005, and won the 2nd place 'Peoples vote' behind the outright winner Barajas airport by Richard Rogers.
Going on to found Harrison Architects in 2010, the depth of big practice experience has been a solid bed rock from which to provide a broad range of Services across a variety of sectors, including Education, Healthcare, Private Housing, developer housing schemes, Industrial projects and leisure.
What We Do
Currently our work includes several development housing projects in London, some private client house projects, and two leisure use 'private indoor pool' projects for private clients.
We work with a number of known partners, consultants and construction companies to deliver the highest standards.
Whilst our formal training was as an Architect our involvement in projects stretches across all aspects and stages of projects, providing a range of Services both piecemeal and complete across all stages to suit client needs and budgets.
