Our Regulatory body is the ARB (Architects Register Board UK).
CDM Regulations: Our role under the CDM Regulations is defined in the Letter of Appointment and under the term 'principal designer' set out in the HSE CDM Regulations. Our role under the CDM Regulations ceases where our role on a project ceases, with the Client being responsible for appointing others to fulfill the duties.
On some projects, we accept the responsibilities of Principal Designers under the Building Safety Act 2022. This is by agreement on a project specific basis, depending on the project nature and our ability to satisfy the requirements.
